I wrote my first line of code for Wanderly about a year ago. As a career PM, I wanted to return to my engineering roots and gain the independence to create my own software projects. What started with a one-hour tutorial turned into what Wanderly is today.
When I was leading Grasshopper, the team had a practice of occasionally screenshotting the app so we could look back at how far we’d come. It’s too easy to get lost in the weeds and forget to zoom out. So I started my own “time machine” on February 26th last year.
I’ve been using my nascent social media video-editing skills to compile a walkthrough of Wanderly’s progress over the last year. Share it on social media if you like it (Instagram, Twitter or Threads)!
Big thanks to this community for helping me get this far! 🙏🥰 You continue to challenge me and offer me great advice, and I hope to repay it. I’m currently working on a major Wanderly image improvement, so expect an update on that in the coming weeks (and I’ll catch up on the info diet soon). 🏞️
